Warehouse Associate – Richard [Meet Our Team]

Furniture Bank Meet Our Team

My name is Richard Labreche. I have 3 kids: Jasmine (9) Jayden (8) and Erika (7). I am a warehouse associate here at Furniture Bank. I have worked here for about 2 years now. My job is to help maintain the warehouse, organize, and fill furniture orders for families.

Everyone here is like an extended family. It’s good to all be here for each other especially with the dilemma that is going on in the world right now. We have all had to adapt to the masks, social distancing, and a more strict sanitization regiment. It is great that we have such a good team and everyone is in good spirits. With my job, I can’t exactly “work from home” but it makes it worth it when I think about the families we help. My life has changed in so many ways since March of 2020. I have personally learned to be more mindful of other people and the dangers of being less sanitary. It is all a learning process and we all have to band together to put the situation away for good so we can all go back to our normal lives. My kids also help remind me to practice safe distancing. I get to see them every week. I am more and more proud of them everyday.

As of now I just stay to my hobbies at home such as working out, watching TV/ playing video games, and spending time with my Girlfriend and kids. I am so lucky to have them.
