How do we work (charity vs social enterprise)

How do we work

Furniture Bank is a not for profit charity as well as a social enterprise.

The funds collected from the fees that we charge for our removal services, ultimately go back into the organization to support our mission of ending furniture poverty.

These fees allow us to put our trucks on the road, maintain our warehouse space, and provide gently used furniture to families in need. When you pay for our professional removal services, you are keeping gently-used items out of a landfill and putting them in homes that need it most.

As a bonus, we provide you with a charitable tax receipt for your donation!

Why do we charge for our pickup service?
