Sales Associate – Victoria [Meet Our Team]

Victoria

Hi there, my name is Victoria and I am part of the sales team here at Furniture Bank! I have been with Furniture Bank now for just about a year and a half and I couldn’t be more grateful to be a part of such an amazing team and work environment.

I started working for Furniture Bank during the summer of the first wave of the pandemic. After what seemed like a never-ending job-search, I was so thankful to have finally found a position that was close to home and supported such a great cause. The team at Furniture Bank welcomed me in and really became my second home for the summer.

In addition to my role at Furniture Bank. I am also a full-time student at Western University in London Ontario. I am in my fourth year of my undergrad now and I am working towards completing my Honours Specialization in Psychology. Throughout the school year, I have been so privileged to have the flexibility to work part-time on days where I don’t have any classes. The sales team and everyone at Furniture Bank has been so supportive of my academic career and I really cannot express how thankful I am to work with this team.

Victoria

When I am not at work or at school, you can find me grabbing a coffee at Starbucks, out with my friends, or spending time with my dog Brady! I also love to travel and hope to plan a trip soon – hopefully somewhere very warm and near the beach!

Although the COVID-19 pandemic has not been ideal, I feel fortunate to have my health, an amazing workplace, my family, and my friends. I am looking forward to the year ahead and seeing what new challenges and adventures this year will bring!
